The eye wedjat, udjat, udyat, ugiat, Horus eye, is one of the amulets most known about the ancient Egypt and about the current Moslem world. As lucky charm symbolizes the health, the prosperity, the indestructibility of the body and the aptitude to be reborn. The wedjat, an eye partly human and partly of hawk, is the Horus eye, god of the skies, and he comes to mean «the unit or restored totality».
