OMCG Members Arrested

Five alleged participants of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club have been arrested for criminal association.

The Bandidos Motorcycle Club, an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG), is one of ten declared criminal organisations in South Australia and it is an offence for participants of a declared criminal organisation to be in a public place with two or more people who are also participants in a declared criminal organisation.

It will be alleged the five men were together on Friday 22 December 2023, whilst attending a liquor store in the Adelaide CBD.

A 28-year-old Seaford man, a 33-year-old Wynn Vale man and two men both aged 23-years from Murray Bridge were arrested on 28 February and a 34-year-old Aldinga Beach man was arrested today (Wednesday 3 April). All five men have been charged with criminal association. They were granted police bail to appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court on 7 June.

Detective Chief Inspector David Huddy, Officer in Charge of Crime Gangs Task Force said, "This intervention by the Crime Gangs Task Force is the latest in a string of OMCG arrests for members being together in public in contravention of the law designed to stop them and that carries a mandatory custodial sentence.

We will continue to identify and take action against OMCG members with the aim of disrupting criminal enterprises, maintaining law and order and keeping the public safe".
