Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

I bought three of these adapters, and I don't regret it a bit. If you already have Playstation or Playstation 2 controllers, this is much cheaper and more efficient than buying extra USB controllers. I've found that almost all PC games that allow you to use a controller will take this adapter just fine. The second player feature works perfectly, too, so all you have to do is plug it in, configure it in-game, and you're both ready to go. I have had absolutely no problems whatsoever with this device, and I've owned it for about two years now. The other two I bought were gifts for my friends, and they've reported no problems either.
I bought this product to use with several PC games. Windows does not automatically recognize it. It did not come with a CD, or URL for any software drivers. As such it is a useless item. I was sent an item that was similar to, but NOT the pictured device, by QuickBuys.
Hay cierto problema con la sensibilidad de los joysticks, o es demasiada o muy poca, nunca pude encontrar la solucion a eso, supongo que la falta de drivers tiene que ver. No lo recomiendo.
My only complaint is that my Logitech wireless PS2 controller doesn't work with this (main reason I got it, too). Otherwise, both Vista and XP recognized it right away (no need to install drivers from the cd) (by the way, my wireless pad still didn't work after I installed the drivers). FYI, I noticed that this thing always acts as though it was plugged in last. For example, plug it in, and it uses gamepad slots 1 & 2. Then plug in a PC gamepad, and your PS2 controllers suddenly use slots 2 & 3.
I was in the market for a gamepad when I found some old PlayStation 2 controllers and figured buying this adapter (if it worked) would be cheaper than buying a USB controller. I checked out this and another (cheaper) model. The cheaper one had too many reviews of spotty performance, so I went with this one and have not been disappointed. Product is surprisingly light, but the connection is good, and both XP and Vista recognized it immediately. I do not regret having paid the higher price one bit; hopefully this adapter will last me for as many years as I want it to.
All of the reviews say it comes with software/drivers, but I only received the converter. The product is also different from the package like others have said. If I find the drivers online I'll change my rating, but it is still kind of a hassle.
