David From Saint Louis, MO 09/21/2007 It took me awhile to find a good adapter for this for the US. I ordered one from Amazon and it was unavailable for 6 months or more, but suddenly they got some and shipped it and it works fine. The directions caution not to leave it plugged in all the time like a refrigerator, but I've left it running 18 hours or so in the house with no trouble. It cools very well too, better than other coolers I've seen. Lowered a room temperature bottle of water down to about 39 degrees F.
