deviantART is graced with some really good artists. Because of this, I decided to do a little occasional series of articles, each profiling a really good artist who has his or her work on dA. This isn't an "unknown" artists feature; there will be varying degrees of popularity, both on dA and the in art world in general. The first artist I'm featuring is Canadian painter Sarah Joncas, known here as ~TeaPartyGirl.

reports, July 1, 2007Jesse Michael Renaud, known around here as `frail, was once deviantART's senior gallery director for traditional art, and he has been putting his artistic talents to good use. His striking work graced the covers of the premier issue of Mimesis, and his first graphic novel, The Book of One, will be released on 7/7/07. Here he tells us a bit about himself, his art, and his new book.
