Product Review and Giveaway - Pajama City

Okay, it's not often that I am jealous of my own kids, but I have to say that every holiday season, I get a twinge of jealousy when my kids open up one special present on Christmas Eve to reveal their new pajamas for Christmas morning!  They are usually warm, fluffy, footy pjs that just aren't made for grown ups...  I usually get boring nightgowns or button up pajamas made from thin cotton or maybe flannel...

But not this year!!! I found Pajama City and will be sporting some fabulous Footed Pajamas of my own!!!  I let Robyn pick out her favorites for me from the wonderful selection at http://www.pajamacity.com.

Which ones do you think she chose?

Did she pick the Puppy Paw Print Footed Pajamas with Drop Seat?

Or the Pink Leopard Print Drop Seat Fleece Pajamas

Or did she go with the Snowflakes Print Fleece Drop Seat Footed Pajamas

My review:

I am a footed pajama addict, and I have a feeling that Pajama City is going to be my new favorite PJ place!  These adult footed pajamas have it all - non-skid feet, a drop seat and even ... wait for it... POCKETS!!!  The best part for me is that, with the zip front, they are excellent nursing pajamas and so warm and cozy, being made of polar fleece, that I never want to take them off...   The fleece is stretchy and soft and so wonderfully cozy.

And did I mention a drop seat?  How cool is that...

Actually, my real favorite thing is the pockets... again, as a nursing mommy, I am forever trying to keep track of a soother, burp cloth and other baby paraphernalia, so having two big kangaroo pockets is fabulous!

As for sizing, the ordering chart was easy to understand, but knowing my body as it is, i went up a size to accommodate the fact that I have long legs and a short waist, so pajamas and pants are always short... but if you are a normally proportioned person, you shouldn't have a problem with size.

My only complaint is that sometimes when I sit down, the velcro from the drop seat sometimes detaches - probably because of the junk in my trunk, but it's not a Janet Jackson moment, because the drop seat is designed with an extra flap, it's just a little disconcerting to hear the velcro come apart.

These pajamas have been worn and washed and have retained their size and comfy quality.  They are well stitched  and the zipper and cuffs are high quality, meaning these pajamas should serve me well all winter, and for many winters to come! I am looking forward to Christmas morning when the whole family (minus Wayne, so far as he knows) can take our annual Christmas picture in footed pajamas!

So, which ones did Robyn choose for me?

Snowflakes... of course!

I'd like the Pink Plaid Hearts Fleece Drop Seat Footie Pajamas because my daughter has a similar kind of pajamas and it would be neat to match.

These are great! I would choose the red plaid http://www.pajamacity.com/Red-Plaid-Cotton-Flanne... because there is just something about plaid that makes them look so cozy! I would love to win these because living in northern Michigan, I'm always freezing in the winter time! These would definitely keep me warm and allow me to move around the house without dragging my blanket with me every where I go. :)
Aw the snowflakes are cute! nice review.

I feel hot already. I am one to sweat in anything warm--I wear a tank top to bed even in winter!!
I am a fan of all these cute-sy PJs too!!! I love the snowflakes and the duck one! =D

Mmm Penguin footies! We have 2 feet of snow and I'm always so cold. Should warm me up nicely.
Every year we do a Polar Bear swim for charity and I wouldn't think twice about walking around the park in these after the icy swim.

I would like the pink cupcake footed pajamas. I have sensorimotor neuropathy and have a hard time keeping my feet warm so this would definitely help out.

I would choose the red cotton flannel footies with convertible feet, because I like the option of being able to unfooty them if you get too hot.

I have to admit I have been wanting footed pj's for some time. The pink cupcakes style would be my choice because I know they would look cute on me!
I would definitely wear these around our yard and to go out and get the mail. I might even wear them on a late night trip into town if it meant that I wouldn't have to get out of the car!
I love the Happy Monkeys Print. I love monkeys and well footed PJ's are the best! You also have to love the drop seat for that nightly trips into the bathroom especially in the winter when the house is freezing.

danellejohns at gmail dot com
I have been known to wear them to the convience store and out in the front yard (to my childrens horror). Once I had to do a late night trip to Walgreens for medicine so off-I went in PJ's and Eeyore slippers. So I guess there is really nowhere i would not wear them.

I'm not very daring, so walking the dogs in the yard would be my most outrageous place to wear them, but my daughter - I can see her wearing them to school
