Kylie Kelce ‘feels a little guilty’ over newfound celebrity status

Kylie Kelce can’t help but laugh about her rise to fame.

The wife of Eagles center Jason Kelce — who is beloved by NFL fans due to her relatable and down-to-earth personality — explained why she “feels a little guilty” about her newfound celebrity status.

“I almost feel a little guilty that people are so interested and invested in what I’m doing,” she said in an interview with “Good Morning America” on Monday. “I’m like, ‘I am trying to scrape applesauce off the couch.’

“This is not that fascinating. So it’s funny to me. I deeply appreciate the support.”

Kylie was referring to cleaning up after her and Jason’s three young daughters, Wyatt, Elliotte and Bennett.

The Kelce family’s rise to fame started ahead of Super Bowl LVII, during which Travis’ Chiefs beat Jason’s Eagles, 38-35, in Phoenix last February.

The high school field hockey coach also weighed in on Kelce’s future amid rumors the Super Bowl champ is set to retire after spending his entire 13-year NFL career with Philadelphia.

“I think that whatever he does he’s going to be successful in, and I’m not just saying that because I’m his wife,” Kylie said. “I think it’s his personality.”

Kylie, who said she’ll stand behind whatever decision the All-Pro makes, joked that his skills on the field do not transfer to the kitchen — where she only trusts him to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for their three daughters.

Jason clarified in a recent episode of his “New Heights” that he will announce his future plans at the right time and after fully processing the Eagles’ 32-9 loss to the Buccaneers in the wild-card round on Jan. 15.

In the first part of the interview, which aired on Friday, Kylie opened up about Jason’s viral shirtless moment at the Bills-Chiefs divisional-round game on Jan. 21.

“He put his shirt back on to leave the stadium,” she said, adding that Kelce wanted the “full Bills experience” while at Highmark Stadium — where he joined Bills Mafia in the tailgating festivities.

Kylie and a more subdued Jason were present at the AFC Championship game on Sunday, when the Chiefs beat the Ravens 17-10 and punched their ticket to Super Bowl LVIII.

The couple partied in a suite with Taylor Swift, who dating Jason’s younger brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Jason shared an emotional moment with Travis on the field at M&T Bank Stadium, and told the Chiefs star to go “finish this motherf–ker.”

The Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 2024 on Feb. 11.

It is the second straight Super Bowl appearance for Kansas City, and the franchise’s fourth trip to the big game in the past five seasons.

Kylie and Jason, as well as his and Travis’ parents Donna and Ed Kelce and Swift are reportedly expected to be in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl.
