Comment from SNK who blogs at Sonic Ninja Kitty

Furthermore, you should never offer to a recovering addict a sip of the toxin they once recklessly imbibed. Shame on you for offering, and shame on me for taking the bait, but I just cannot resist taking a swipe at the salacious pseudo feminism so vigorously proffered by the PUMAnistas. Dammit, SOMEBODY's got to do it!!

Here's the take: Hillary is a different rat. Still, she is a rat. Runner of the same damned freaking rat race. Same as it ever was.

The PUMAs are sheeple. At first glance they are fluffier and sweeter sheeple than the other sheeple, but they are sheeple all the same. They admire a chick with big brains and bigger balls, which Hillary certainly has. That woman could crush Sith Lloyd Blankfein before breakfast and finish off Bernanke, Geithner and Summers before mid morning snack time, if she really wanted. Dang, she is so good at what she does! SO GOOD!! {somebody slap me--3 deep breaths--get it together SNK!}

Problem is, when you challenge the PUMAs to scratch beyond the surface they will thwack you so hard your head will spin 6 ways till two weeks from next Sunday and then some. They give No Quarter (anyone here get that one? ha ha). They will absolutely REFUSE to examine her stances on sound money, the banker/politician cabal (oh, the irony of her firing her first shot in front of a CFR backdrop--nauseatingly creeptastic), and the debt-war cycle. Yet these are the things that are TRULY critical to ALL our futures. I'll tell you her stances: hates it, loves it, loves it. Disgusting.

Hillary will probably be our next president. She and her loyal PUMAs will lead us the rest of the way, skipping and throwing rose petals, into a collapsed currency, if we don't get to if before then. It may be a fluffier, sweeter collapse than we're all currently anticipating, but an unmitigated disaster nonetheless. They will then guide us into an even more 'caring' (argh--I cannot take all this 'caring'!), even larger and farther reaching 'because they are smarter and more wonderful than you stupid little people' government, depriving us of even MORE sovereignty and personal liberties than ever before, and plunging us further into debt slavery to our self anointed savior-criminals. Goodbye Thomas Jefferson, too bad you were a dude and not a chick:

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

Is THAT what PUMAs want for our country? Guess so. PUMAs don't understand the real power and control mechanisms underlying our society. PUMAs ignore it because they are too busy feeling good about the fact their female leader has balls and brains. This makes me wonder. What the hell happened to these women that they are so blind and ignorant as to be satisfied with only those superficial qualities? Who destroyed their hearts so much so that they would settle for the smaller sphere of 'women's rights' over the larger and all inclusive sphere of LIBERTY FOR ALL?!? That is: F-O-R A-L-L. AAAALLLLLLLLLLLL. Pseudo feminism. Blech.

Any questions?

What happened to Barack Obama's once vaunted political machine? The outfit that put upwards of 8 million volunteers on the street in 2008 - known as Organizing for America - is a ghost of its former self. Its staff has shrunk from 6,000 to 300, and its donors are depressed: receipts are a fraction of what they were in 2008. Virtually no one in politics believes it will turn many contests this fall. "There's no chance that OFA is going to have the slightest impact on the midterms," says Charlie Cook, who tracks congressional races.

Exclusive: AFL-CIO may delay endorsement of Clinton as 2016 presidential candidate - sources

http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/07/25/us-usa-election-aflcio-endorsement-exclu-idUSKCN0PZ0PA20150725

In a possible setback for Hillary Clinton, the AFL-CIO’s political committee has recommended the nation’s largest labor union federation delay endorsing a candidate for the 2016 presidential race as it seeks to push her to be more supportive of its policies on issues such as trade and wages.

The committee on Monday voted unanimously to support the proposal, three union sources told Reuters. The recommendation will be presented at a July 29-30 meeting of the executive council of the federation, which will make the final decision. It could reject the recommendation and still go ahead with an endorsement, though one of the sources said that is unlikely.

The move highlights the pressures Clinton is facing to take a tough stand against the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a proposed free trade deal backed by President Barack Obama but vigorously opposed by unions who see it as detrimental to jobs and wages in the U.S. Unions also want her to back labor-friendly policies on other issues, such as the minimum wage and the Federal Reserve.

The length of any delay in an endorsement may depend on how satisfied union leaders are with Clinton’s stance on TPP over the next few months.

Clinton, as well as Democrat rivals for the party’s nomination in the presidential race, Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley, and one of the candidates in the Republican race, Mike Huckabee, will be grilled by union leaders on the TPP and other issues at next week’s meeting.

“There will not be an endorsement now,” said a source who was at the political committee meeting on Monday. “There will be a lot of healthy discussion about how we approach the election."

John, Didn't know if you had seen the remarkable scene where Sanders and O'Malley were giving speeches where the crowd heckled the hell out of them. There was some discussion on some sites that Kos had arranged for this to happen. Clinton is going to win the nomination come hell or high water despite all the baggage. They NY Times adores her and handles her with kid gloves and I almost never see a disparaging word about her on progressive sites, unless you count the comment sections, which pretty much seem to be blowing up everywhere.

And to think, Potus had suggested we have mandatory participation. HAH.

Hillary Clinton cracks down on for-profit colleges after cashing in

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/aug/10/hillary-clinton-cracks-d...

When Hillary Rodham Clinton, the 2016 presidential candidate, unveiled her college affordability plan on Monday, she sounded every bit the critic of for-profit universities. But Mrs. Clinton, the spouse, benefited to the tune of millions of dollars from that same industry in a business relationship her husband enjoyed as recently as this spring.

Former President Bill Clinton collected more than $16 million from 2010 to 2014 as honorary chancellor of Laureate Education, a for-profit company that runs 80 education institutions around the globe, according to recently released tax returns. Four of its six U.S. colleges were flagged on the Education Department’s list of schools whose access to federal financial aid was being monitored out of concern over financial irresponsibility.

The Clinton Foundation also lists Laureate International Universities as one of its donors, giving $1 million to $5 million during the first half of this year. Mr. Clinton praised the company when he stepped down in late April, less than two weeks after his wife officially entered the presidential race.

State Department destroyed Clinton aides’ BlackBerrys

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/aug/19/state-dept-destroyed-cli...

The State Department destroyed the BlackBerry devices issued to two top aides of former Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton and never issuedMrs. Clinton a device at all, officials told a federal court Wednesday in a filing that raises still more security questions.

The filing came a day before officials will have to appear in court to detail the steps they took to try to track down Mrs. Clinton’s emails, and whatever computers or other devices she may have used to send them.

udicial Watch, a conservative public interest law firm, has sued to get a look at the emails of Mrs. Clinton and two top aides at State: Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills.

All three used email accounts not issued by the State Department to conduct government business, and all three are now under court orders to return those documents to the department to belatedly comply with open-records laws.

After Mrs. Clinton said she had deleted messages from her server,Judicial Watch prodded the State Department to try to dig up her electronic devices to see if any messages could be recovered.

State, on Wednesday, said that was impossible.

“[The department] does not believe that any personal computing device was issued by the department to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and has not located any such device,” administration officials said.

Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, said that means Mrs. Clinton, who did use such devices during her time in office, must have issued one to herself — raising major national security questions.

“If the State Department was not providing secure email devices to Mrs. Clinton, who was? Best Buy? Target? Mrs. Clinton clearly did whatever she wanted, without regard to national security or federal records keeping laws,” Mr. Fitton said.

The State Department said Ms. Mills and Ms. Abedin were issued BlackBerry devices, which were likely turned in at the end of their service.

“Because the devices issued to Ms. Mills and Ms. Abedin would have been outdated models, in accordance with standard operating procedures those devices would have been destroyed or excessed,” thedepartment said.

Ms. Mills‘ lawyer has told the court she returned her emails to the government earlier this year, while Ms. Abedin’s lawyer said they will return her emails by next week.

Tech company: No indication that Clinton’s e-mail server was ‘wiped’

http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/tech-company-no-indication-that-clintons-e-mail-server-was-wiped/2015/09/12/10c8ce52-58c6-11e5-abe9-27d53f250b11_story.html

The company that managed Hillary Rodham Clinton’s private e-mail server said it has “no knowledge of the server being wiped,” the strongest indication to date that tens of thousands of e-mails that Clinton has said were deleted could be recovered.

Clinton and her advisers have said for months that she deleted her personal correspondence from her time as secretary of state, creating the impression that 31,000 e-mails were gone forever.

There is a distinction between e-mails’ being deleted and a server being wiped. If e-mails are deleted or moved from a server, they appear to no longer exist on the device. But experts say, depending on the condition of the server, underlying data can remain on the device, and the e-mails can often be restored.

To make the information go away permanently, a server must be wiped — a process that includes overwriting the underlying data with gibberish, possibly several times.

That process, according to Platte River Networks, the Denver-based firm that has managed the system since 2013, apparently did not happen.

NY attorney general investigating Exxon over climate statements

http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/11/05/us-exxon-mobil-climatechange-i...

The New York attorney general has launched an investigation into whether Exxon Mobil Corp (XOM.N) misled the public about the risks of climate change or its investors about how those risks may hurt the company's oil business.

Attorney General Eric Schneiderman subpoenaed the company on Wednesday evening, demanding extensive financial records, emails and other documents, the attorney general's spokesman Stephen Barton told Reuters.

The New York Times first reported the news earlier on Thursday. (nyti.ms/1HuEJC8)

U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in late October had said she believed the U.S. Justice Department should investigate Exxon for failing to disclose data related to climate change.
