2014 Invitational Summer Institute Staff Application

The Oklahoma Writing Project Summer Institute will be held full days, June 9-12; 16-19; and 23-27 at the Moore Norman Technology Center-Norman campus.  In addition, there will be one spring pre-institute day (date to be determined).  This year the summer institute will have four staff members who will work with the OWP Director and Co-Director to plan and implement the institute, including recruiting, coaching and being part of a leadership team in school year 2014-2015.  Each staff member's salary will be $600.

Optional Question: As a member of the 2014 SI staff, you will be part of the OWP Leadership team for 2014-2015.  With National Writing Project's funding to sites across the nation for the summer institute being reduced by 50%, our project is faced with generating funds to support our SI.  Provide three specific ideas for projects you could be in charge of implementing and estimate how much money each project might generate.
