Please review the placement requirements at https://www.oaklandca.gov/resources/bicycle-parking-resources-and-requirements to determine if there is sufficient/appropriate space for the proposed rack.

The City installs racks on City-owned right-of-way (typically sidewalks); but, cannot install racks on private property or on property maintained by other agencies (such as OUSD or BART).

The CityRacks Program is coordinated by Oakland’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Program (www.oaklandbikes.info).
