Pinterest is Becoming an Amazing Marketing Tool

Pinterest is the new amazing marketing tool and if you are still not using it for your marketing purpose, then it is time that you start doing it. There are many other social media sites that business use as an effective marketing tool but according to many, they get more traffic from Pinterest than other sites. Many people think that their businesses are not Pinterest friendly and all of them, here there are three reasons as why they should start using Pinterest.

Your business will be exposed to more people than just your followers. Pinterest has public boards and your pins are likely to go to these public boards and reach up to more people and expose your business to many new people apart from just your followers. This visual search engine can attract and bring traffic for many months and even years. Pins can get repinned many times and this continues to attract traffic. It is not necessary that all are potential customers but many are and attracting traffic is one the primary aims of any website marketing tool. These public boards also gets picked up by Google and that is a great for any business as Google is the biggest search engine that millions and millions of people use in each countries of the world.

When you are using Pinterest, it is best to use it when most of your followers are active on this site so that they get to see your pins and repin them and your pins are not buried under the pressure of recent pins.

Large Number of Pinterest Profiles Hacked

Pinterest profiles got hacked again after the account of million Pinterest users started over flowing with weight loss related messages. Pinterest is a very popular visual search tool or content sharing website in the internet that was targeted by the hackers lately. Pinterest confirmed this weight loss spam that poured onto other social networking sites including Twitter from the accounts of Pinterest users.

All the users who were affected by this spam (and that number was not very small) were posting weight loss ads that talked about an Asian fruit that helped to burn fat. These spam ads also included a Pinterest review.
Pinterest in an interview said that the security of the users is their top priority and that they know few instances of spam are doing the round and that they have responded immediately to solve the issue and secure the accounts of all the affected pinners. Pinterest also added that they are constantly upgrading their security level and also telling all the pinners to use complex and long passwords to avoid hacking. Pinterest was hacked in March as well when affected users had posted weight loss ads and butt pictures.

Pinterest users need to reset their passwords and also stop using any third party applications and their services.

It is clear that how all these takes place. A Phising-style email is sent that claims to have shared a link that has been posted by some celebrity or friend and clicking on the image gives hackers access to pinner’s information.
