Description
Get your students to turn QUALITY homework in, on time! This management system encourages students to be reflective and in charge of their own homework.
I use this as a WHOLE CLASS GOAL. I have three classes, which is why you see three game boards in the product cover.
Here is how it works:
1. Students are assigned a class number
2. If they turn in "hot" homework (on time, complete, and quality) then they get to cover their number on the homework checker board. I used little magnets on the back of laminated paper.
3. If the whole class turns in "hot homework", the thermometer raises by one. The goal is to get all the way to hot!
4. Once they reach it to "hot" they have officially earned the reward that they have been working for.
4. If students do not turn in Hot Homework, the thermometer goes down by one.
5. Students who do not turn in their homework, will be recording so on a Homework log, which is managed by a student in the class.
6. If patterns continue with particular students, you will fill out the "plan for success" sheet with them, and strategize on ideas to help this student
